GarageBand

GarageBand is a cool app available on the iPad to make audio (mp3) files, and we used it to create our radio show about the early hominid Homo Sapiens Neanderthalensis .

Garageband is simple to use. To begin, you open the app by tapping the icon on your homescreen. Once it opens you will be able to create a new "song," which is what the projects are called on GarageBand.

Next you choose an instrument on which you want to record on. Normally, I would choose the Audio recorder for projects but it's up to you. After that, you practice whatever you want to do. When your ready to make your final project, click the record button. Don't worry, if you mess up, you can just try again.

Once your satisfied with your project and you want to publish it, save it first. You don't want all your progress to be erased. Next click and hold your project until it starts shaking. Then click on the arrow pointing to the box, click YouTube, edit the name and click share.

Congratulations ! You've just posted your first project on YouTube using GarageBand! Pat yourself on the back and view it.
